If You Were Deserted On An Island, What Are The 3 Things That You Would Bring ? Why?

If you were deserted on an island what three things would you bring with you?
Why?

Hmmm. That's a tough question isn't it.

Three things.

Okay, let's see.

The first thing would be my smartphone.
When I say smartphone , I meant the parts, the charger, internet connection whatnots.

Wait what?
That's cheating?

Hmm.

Okay, let's start over.

The first thing I would bring would be a book.

Imagine basking under the sun with a book next to you, then you move to another spot cause the sun is scorching hot, so you sit under a coconut tree, silently praying no coconuts would hit you, then you open your book and you start reading. The wind from the sea hit you smoothly, the trees dancing around you and suddenly a coconut falls ,thankfully not on you, and you somehow know how to open a coconut using bare hands, and you drink the coconut during breaks in reading your book.  So yes, the first thing I would bring if I were deserted on an ialand would be a book.

The second thing that I would bring would be fried chicken.

You see ,fried chicken can be a satisfied main course and also a snack.
After reading and drinking coconuts, I'll grab my fried chicken and eat like I've never seen one. After I feed my tummy , I take a walk around the island , with some fried chicken as my snack and a coconut , assuming I am that brilliant to be able to produce a super strong comfy bag that can carry the coconut ,my book and the fried chicken.

The third thing that I would bring would be a boat.

After a long walk around the island, I'll walk back to my initial spot and walk toward my boat. Start the engine and head straight to my home.

So, if I were deserted in an island I'll be sure to bring these three things ; a book, fried chicken and a boat.

How about you?

Peel the skin and slice them .     The thickness of the yam should be around 1.5 cm . These were are bit thin; these would taste dry epecially after frying 2.Slice your pork into slices as thick as your yam. 3. Heat the cooking oil (enough for frying the yams and the pork) 4.  Deep-fry the yams , then the pork. 5. In a separate bowl, mix preserved bean curds, cumin powder , salt and ajinomoto. leave it for 5 minutes.Add some water, the mixture should be like a thin paste. 6. Coat the fried ingredients w...

Kaamatan Cuisines in Tambunan, Sabah.

Sharing some of the food shared during a Kaamatan Celebration in my Village.   1. Pungit + Kuyoh   So, basically most of the names of the food in this post are in Dusun language.   So, let us talk about first dish. The main ingredient in this 'Pungit + Kuyoh' dish is bats. yeah like BATMAN but without the MAN. Kuyoh is pumpkin shoots. I've never tried eating bats, I'm just not brave enough yet but from what I heard , It’s tasty. *The bats will be stir-fried for while and then you add pumpkin shoots, some water, seasoning, wait for a while and then ready to be eaten.    2.Langgangon    Langgangon  a type of chili that can be found mostly in Sabah. If you go to tamu (traditional market) you can see a lot of people selling langgangon. Some people would prefer to grow their own langgangon. They are in white color and are one of the favorites of Sabahan. The spiciness varies, some would be ve...
